The "Bird Walker" is a delightful film set in Beijing and a southwestern province in China today. It is the story of an only child, eyes riveted on her Iphone, living in Beijing between two parents totally absorbed by their professional success. She is entrusted to her grandfather for school vacations and discovers with him the charms of life in the countryside; from the fear of a spider to the fear of a buffalo, from the songs of birds to a night under the stars. It is a journey of initiation. The parents, whose paths diverge, are reconciled thanks to the happiness of their daughter discovered in the traditional culture of the village.
