Internal rules for trainees

ARTICLE 1: PURPOSE

AKTEOS is an independent professional training body having its registered office at 2 bis rue Descombes 75017 PARIS, declared under business number 11 92 14 36 492.
These Internal Rules are intended to specify certain conditions applicable to all persons registered for and participating in the various courses organised by AKTEOS, to facilitate the organisation and operation of the training proposed.
 

ARTICLE 2: GENERAL INFORMATION

These Rules are drafted in compliance with the decree of 23 October 1991 and the provisions of articles L 6352-3 and L 6352-4 and R 6352-1 to R 6352-15 of the French Labour Code. The purpose of these Internal Rules is to define the general and permanent rules applicable, and to explain the health and safety regulations and rules concerning discipline, including the disciplinary measures applicable to trainees and their rights and entitlements should such measures be employed.
 

ARTICLE 3: PERSONS CONCERNED

These Rules apply to all trainees registered for a session organised by AKTEOS, for the whole duration of the training course concerned. Each trainee is considered as having accepted the terms of these rules when undertaking training provided by AKTEOS and accepts that measures may be taken against him should he fail to comply with them.
 

ARTICLE 4: TRAINING LOCATION

The training will be provided on AKTEOS’ premises, or on outside premises, or within the client’s company. The terms of these Rules will apply not only within AKTEOS’ premises but also within any other premises or facilities used by the organisation.
 

ARTICLE 5: GENERAL RULES

Each trainee must ensure his personal safety and security and that of others by complying with the general and special health and safety rules applicable on the training site. However, pursuant to article R.6352-1 of the Labour Code, when the training is being held in the company or an establishment which already has its own internal rules, the health and safety measures applicable to the trainees will be those of the latter’s rules.
 

ARTICLE 6: RESTAURANT FACILITIES

AKTEOS does not have restaurant facilities. It is recommended that trainees have a meal together in one of the local restaurants. A person from AKTEOS will accompany the group to the restaurant. The persons concerned make this journey under their own personal liability.
 

ARTICLE 7: FIRE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Pursuant to articles R. 4227-28 and following of the Labour Code, the fire safety instructions including a map showing the locations of the fire extinguishers and emergency exits are displayed in the training premises in order for trainees to consult them. The trainees are required to immediately follow all evacuation orders given by the course organiser or by an employee of the establishment. The instructions applicable within the establishment to be observed in the event of danger and especially fires must be scrupulously followed.
 

ARTICLE 8: ACCIDENTS

Any accident or incident occurring during the training must be immediately declared by the trainee suffering the accident or those witnessing it, to the AKTEOS manager. Pursuant to article R. 6342-3 of the Labour Code, an accident befalling a trainee when he is on the training site or on his way from or to the site must be declared by the AKTEOS manager to the social security system.
 

ARTICLE 9: PERSONAL ATTIRE AND BEHAVIOUR

Trainees are requested to attend the training site decently dressed and to behave appropriately and respectfully toward all other persons present within the organisation.
 

ARTICLE 10: TRAINING TIMES

The times of the training sessions are set by AKTEOS and notified to the trainees in their invitations. The trainees are required to respect these times. Pursuant to the applicable provisions, AKTEOS reserves the right to modify the training times in accordance with operational requirements. Trainees must comply with any modifications made by AKTEOS to the times of the training sessions. If a trainee is going to be absent from or arrive late at a training session, he or she should preferably inform AKTEOS on 01 55 95 85 10. Additionally, an attendance sheet must be signed by the trainee at the start of each half-day session (morning and afternoon). The trainee’s employer will be informed of any absences as soon as AKTEOS becomes aware of these.
 

ARTICLE 11: ACCESS TO THE PREMISES

Entering and leaving the site: the trainees have access to the establishment exclusively for the purpose of undertaking the training course for which they are registered. They may not:
-    Be accompanied by persons who are not registered for the training course they are taking (family members, friends, etc.),
-    Bring any animals into the establishment and, more generally…
-    Adversely affect or hinder the performance of the training course in any manner.
 

ARTICLE 12: RECORDINGS

Unless expressly authorised to do so, it is formally prohibited to record or film the training sessions.
 

ARTICLE 13: EDUCATIONAL DOCUMENTATION

The educational documentation issued during the training sessions is protected by copyright and may not be reused other than for strictly personal use. Reproducing or displaying this material, whether in whole or in part, by means of any process, outside the scope of the training session is prohibited without the author’s express consent, and will constitute an act of infringement punishable under the terms of articles, L. 335-2 and following of the Intellectual Property Code. Such material may not be displayed or disseminated on the Internet.
 

ARTICLE 14: DISCIPLINARY MEASURES

Any acts or behaviour considered as wrongful conduct by the manager of the training body or his representative may result in the application of disciplinary measures in accordance with the applicable rules.
 

ARTICLE 15: THE TRAINEES’ PERSONAL BELONGINGS

AKTEOS declines all liability in the case of the loss or theft of, or damage of any form to the trainees’ personal belongings on the training site.
 

ARTICLE 16: AVAILABILITY OF THE RULES

These rules are available on the AKTEOS website and a copy will be provided to each trainee upon request.
