  • Explain how continuous professional development works in France
  • Presenting a training plan

3. International mobility

  • Learn the vocabulary of INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY
  • Interview a potential expatriation candidate
  • Negotiate an expatriation package
  • Welcoming expatriates and their families
  • Intercultural aspects of expatriation

Day 2:

4 & 5. Recruiting and retaining staff

  • Learn the vocabulary of RECRUTEMENT
  • Effective interviewing
  • « Selling the job to a candidate » (Present the company / job description)
  • Answering applicants’ questions
  • « Recruitment Emails » (interview invitation, accepting / refusing an applicant, etc.) 

6. Apraisal

  • Learn the vocabulary of APPRAISALS
  • Doing annual appraisal interviews
  • Fixing objectives (‘ SMART Objectives ‘)
  • ‘ Performance Improvement Plans ‘ (presenting a PIP)

7. Policy, procedures and strategy

  • Communicating HR policies
  • HR 7S (Strategy, Shared Values, Skills, etc.)
  • Highlighting a company’s core values
