"Becoming A Coach" Program - 11 days

Who Should Attend

Anyone involved in a human resources related activity (counsel, training, recruitment) and managers willing to discover and/or broaden the theoretical approaches and preparatory modes which permit to consider getting involved in coaching and better apprehending one's partners.

Objectives

  • Taking a grasp at theoretical and historical foundations of coaching and its methodes and evolution
  • Learning how to interpret a demand for a coaching and establishing a contract between trainee and backer
  • Knowing how to adopt a trainer posture and how to inscribe one's practice methods in a deontological and ethical code
  • Acquiring techniques and tools to lead a coaching interview

The + of the Training Programme

This session is lead by a team of certified trainers applying a rigorous ethical and deontological code.

The diversity and complementarity of the trainers' profiles will permit the participants to define their professional practice style by choosing the one that fits them the closest. The analysis of study cases, interview simulations and experience feedback will enable them to apprehend the reality of coaching.

1 - Validation of The Application

The professional project of the applicant is validated before the training.

2 - Programme Outline

The program follows a progressive increase in competency level and validates the acquired skills throughout the schedule. Each module is to be attended in the following order:

  • Becoming a coach: the basics - 6 days
    • Understanding the foundations and evolutions of the coaching practice
    • Studying the demand and formulating the demand
    • Apprehending firm coaching
    • Spotting the different psychological structures
    • Using personal development tools
  • Becoming a coach: the practice - 5 days
    • Basing oneself on rogerian techniques
    • Leading coaching interviews
    • Monitoring coaching practices: supervision

3 - Validation by a Professional Committee

The certificate is delivered by a committee of experts who guarantee the acquired competencies through a professional frame of reference.
