Asserting One's Personality and Gaining Confidence

Who Should Attend?

Any executive willing to develop their ability to feel at ease in their professional relations and acquire new techniques to assert themself

 

Objectives
  • Asserting one's position and way of thinking in an appropriate way 
  • Reinforcing one's confidence and developing constructive relations
  • Daring to assert oneself in a situation of conflict
  • Gaining confidence by knowing one's own strengths and potential
On-site + e-learning program

The on-site intervention is focused on practise and the sharing of experience with the group; the 5 remote modules (45 minutes each) enable the delegates to broaden the skills acquired with the group

  • Alternating theoretical and practical exercises
  • An intersession to put the acquired skills to test
  • Elaboration of a personalised progress plan to favour a concrete put into practice
Programme Outline

 

1. Knowing oneself to assert oneself

  • Knowing one's needs, deep motives and values
  • Pondering on one's image and on the ways to improve it

2. Reinforcing one's confidence

  • Knowing the confidence-booster attitudes
  • Gaining awareness of one's potential and strong points
  • Knowing one's perception filters and measuring their influence
  • Knowing one's rights and giving oneself teh right to be mistaken
  • Knowing oneself and adding value to one's potential

3. Developing a responsible and firm attitude

  • Mastering one's emotions by focusing on the other
  • Measuring the importance of non-verbal communication
  • Creating link to promote trust: listening, reformulating
  • Knowing why one couldn't say 'no'
  • Gently expressing or refusing a demand
  • Knowing how to express or to deal with criticism
  • Daring expressing oneself and sharing one's opinions

4. Knowing how to react in front of an unsettling situation

  • Communicating with difficult-to-deal-with characters
  • Spotting and undoing schemes
  • Fixing conflicts
  • Learning how to take hindsight and looking at the good side
